SoftQuest Corporation announced today that the next major release of InstallPump will include Remote Agent Technology. InstallPump is a deployment and installation development tool used to deploy and manage Lotus Notes clients across the enterprise.

RemoteAgent provides real-time push and deployment functions. Using RemoteAgent, Domino administrators can deploy and then manage the Notes clients and desktops remotely in real-time. The initial release is scheduled for April 23, 2001 and will include such functions as real-time client survey, remote Notes upgrade and install, remote Notes desktop configurations (icons, NAB, Replicator Page), and real-time log feedback.
